White Beach Phuket

White Beach Phuket is a small secluded cove on the northwest coast of Phuket near Nai Thon. Soft white sand, rocky edges, and resort-supported facilities define its quiet atmosphere. Best for sheltered swimming on calm days, with strong waves possible in monsoon months.

White Beach Phuket

White Beach sits on forested slopes in Sakhu Subdistrict, Thalang District, below. It is a compact west-facing bay directly in front of Andaman White Beach Resort.

Overview

The cove is around 250–300 m long with a natural curve and rocky headlands. Water clarity is typically best in the dry season. The experience is quiet, contained, and resort-centric.

Location and character

Located off local coastal roads linked to Highway 4031 from Phuket International Airport, the shoreline combines soft sand with near-shore rocks and coral patches. The setting is part of the Sirinat coastal sector, though not a separately named national park beach.

Swimming and safety

From November to April, water is usually calm enough for relaxed swimming in the central sandy section.

From May to October, stronger surf and rip currents are possible. Rocks and coral require attention underfoot, and jellyfish alerts sometimes apply on this coastline.

Access and transport

Access is through Andaman White Beach Resort, with a short walk from on-site parking to the sand. The final approach road is steep.

No scheduled public transport serves the entrance. Visitors typically arrive by taxi, private transfer, or rental vehicle.

Facilities and atmosphere

Toilets, showers, food, and drinks are available via the resort. There are no independent beachfront vendors.

The beach maintains a clean, secluded feel most of the year. Storm days can push debris ashore, similar to other west-coast beaches.

Who White Beach is for

Ideal for couples and travellers seeking a quiet stay with direct beach access and minimal crowds.

Not suited to visitors wanting walkable restaurants, nightlife, or street food.

Nearby beaches

North: Banana Beach. A slightly tougher access cove with a more day-trip and boat-visit feel.
